"Keeping a journal is Good
for the Soul"
The covers of these hand-sewn are all made from Japanese decorative
papers. The book makers are Karen Zimmerly and her sister Elsan Zimmerly.
Karen lives in San Angelo, Texas,
where she also does photography and works at an art museum. Elsan
lives in Ashland, Oregon. These
journals or sketch books are made using the hand sewn binding called
the Coptic stitch. |
